Thoughtful, compassionate care for families and long-term conditions
Dr Jan is a Specialist General Practitioner who was born and raised in the UK. She graduated from Imperial College London in 2003 and trained broadly in hospitals across London. After gaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, she realised her real calling was holistic, patient-centred care as a generalist. She went on to train further in paediatrics, psychiatry and sexual health, and became a GP in 2009, gaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK).
She spent more than a decade caring for diverse communities across London, then moved to Perth with her family in 2019 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Jan offers thoughtful, compassionate care across all areas of general practice. She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, including heart disease and diabetes. She is also interested in preventative health, women’s health and children’s health, so she is well placed to look after the whole family.
Away from work
Dr Jan is a devoted mum to three children and an active member of her local community. When she is not exploring the WA coast with her family, you will find her running, cooking up a storm, or cheering from the sidelines as secretary of her local netball club.
