The Village Medical Practice

About us

Community

Our lounge hosts health education and creative events for the community. Find out what's on, or how to host your own event at The Village.

A village, not just a practice

We built The Village to be more than a place you come when you are unwell. Our lounge, with its sofas and fireplace, doubles as a gathering place, and we use it to bring people together through health education and creative events.

The aim is simple: to help our patients and neighbours feel supported, connected and part of something.

What’s on

Host an event with us

Have an idea for an event at The Village? It might be a health talk, a creative workshop or a get-together for a local group. Contact our Business Operations Manager at hello@village-medical.com.au and we will do our best to help you set it up.

Giving back

We have a heart for those less fortunate than ourselves, and we try to let that guide the everyday choices we make.

  • Our uniforms come from FIGS, which through its Threads for Threads programme supports healthcare professionals working in resource-poor countries around the world.
  • The handwash in our washrooms is from Thankyou, a brand whose mission is to help create a world where no one lives in extreme poverty.
  • Paintings for Perron. Proceeds from the sale of Dr Ellie’s paintings at the practice go to the Perron Institute. See the artwork.

Training tomorrow’s clinicians

We are keen to support future doctors and nurses in their training. We are affiliated with the University of Western Australia, the University of Notre Dame, Curtin University and Edith Cowan University, so you may meet students learning with us. You will always be asked first, and you are free to say no.
