We are an accredited practice
Being accredited means our practice is committed to a comprehensive programme that involves:
- engaging our whole practice team to review our systems and processes
- opening our doors to a team of independent surveyors, who assess how our practice operates
- being assessed against, and meeting, the nationally recognised Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for general practices, which focus on healthcare quality and patient safety.
As a member of the community, you may be surprised to learn that general practice accreditation is voluntary. This means not all practices undergo an independent on-site assessment on a regular basis.
Achieving AGPAL accreditation reassures you that our doctors and practice team are committed to providing you with high-quality healthcare in a safe environment.
Next time you visit, look out for the AGPAL Accredited General Practice symbol or our accreditation certificate. Our team is proud of this achievement, and as part of the process we keep working to make quality improvements that better your experience as a patient.
