What We're Looking For in a Nurse

We're looking for nurses who take real pride in their craft — clinical skill, yes, but also the warmth and presence that makes a patient feel safe.

You might be an experienced practice nurse who could do this in your sleep but still brings full attention to every patient. Or you might be newer to the primary care setting but carry exactly the kind of energy and attitude we value.

Either way, we're looking for someone who:

• Is clinically competent and committed to staying that way

• Communicates with patients in a way that puts them at ease

• Works proactively — anticipating what's needed rather than waiting to be directed

• Is a genuine team player, in the fullest sense of the phrase

• Takes the patient experience personally

What It's Like to Work Here

Our nurses work closely with our GPs in a genuinely collaborative environment. You'll have clear systems, strong administrative support, and a team around you that has your back. Our regular Clinical Team meetings are an opportunity to talk to our GP Owners directly about any issues and ways to make the Village even better.

We invest in our nursing staff — in training, in professional development, and in making sure the role is sustainable and rewarding. General practice nursing done well is incredibly varied and deeply satisfying. We want you to feel that.

The Village is a growing practice in an active community, which means the work is real, the patient relationships are meaningful, and no two days look exactly the same.

We're selective. We'd rather have a smaller team of exceptional nurses than a large team of average ones. If you're someone who clocks in and clocks out without much in between, we're probably not the right fit for each other — and that's okay.
