Our administration team sets the tone for everything that follows. We take that seriously, and we look for people who do too.

What We're Looking For

You don't need a medical background, although it is strongly preferred. You don't need years of experience in a GP practice. What you do need is harder to teach:

• Genuine warmth — the kind that makes people feel welcome, not processed

• The ability to stay calm, kind, and competent when things get busy

• Strong attention to detail, because in a medical setting, details matter

• A service mindset — you take pride in making things smooth for patients and colleagues

• The kind of reliability that means people don't have to wonder if you're on top of things

Experience in healthcare administration is a definite plus. But attitude, character, and a genuine investment in doing the job well will always matter more to us than a well worn CV.

What It's Like to Work Here

The Village is a well-run, busy practice with a strong and personal team culture. You'll be part of a front of house and admin team that works closely together, supported by clear systems and a management team that actually listens - our regular admin team meetings are an opportunity to speak to our GP owners directly, and help work with them to make the Village even better.

It's not always easy work — patients can be anxious, days can be demanding, coffees don’t make themselves, and the pace doesn't always let up. But it's meaningful work. You'll see the difference you make, in real time, with real people.
